Poverty is Real to Host Benefit Concerts for Open…

Our friends at Brite Revolution are hosting a series of Poverty is Real concerts to benefit Open Table Nashville –– everyone is invited!

The folks at Poverty is Real (PIR) believe that poverty and homelessness are local issues that affect us all, but that great music can bring communities together to make a difference. All of the proceeds from these 3 concerts will be given to OTN to support the extra needs that arise for our friends in the winter months. Since last June, PIR has coordinated four concerts and donated nearly $30,000 to local organizations fighting poverty their hometowns of Athens, Georgia, Decatur, Georgia, and Asheville, cbd in North Carolina. We are so thankful for the work that Brite Revolution/Poverty is Real is doing –– using their gifts to raise awareness about issues of poverty and homelessness, and we invite you to join us for some great music for a great cause on November 30th at the Bluebird Cafe and December 1st at Exit/In.
