Lauren is a senior religion major at Birmingham Southern College. She discovered her passion to work to disrupt the poverty cycle and the housing crisis in high school and plans to continue that work after graduation next year. Lauren believes that housing is a basic right that everyone should have access to, and she is excited to begin taking steps with Open Table Nashville to eradicate the issues surrounding affordable housing. When she isn’t working, Lauren can be found eating Mexican food or watching her favorite TV shows Friends and Criminal Minds.
John Culbertson offers presence and spiritual support to friends of Open Table Nashville as a Chaplain on the Streets.
Hunter is eager to explore nonprofit management and build his leadership skills while working with a high quality team throughout the summer
Kate recently graduated with a degree in psychology from Oberlin College and is working with Open Table Nashville for a year before starting grad school for social work. She wants to be a therapist someday to help folks reclaim agency over and find peace in their bodies.
