Mia is a senior social work student at Belmont University. After being drawn to Open Table Nashville’s relational and justice-oriented approach to ending homelessness on an immersion walk, she is eager to now be working with this organization as her second semester field placement. She is eager to learn and grow alongside the OTN outreach workers and to develop a true understanding of the scope of homelessness in Nashville. In her spare time, you can find her cozying up with a good book, spending time with friends, or exploring coffee shops in Nashville.
Michael is interested in the intersection of Faith and Justice and seeks to understand systems of oppression and the theological and ethical obligation to confront such systems and restore the oppressed.

Kate recently graduated with a degree in psychology from Oberlin College and is working with Open Table Nashville for a year before starting grad school for social work. She wants to be a therapist someday to help folks reclaim agency over and find peace in their bodies.
