Open Table Nashville and Trinity Community Commons are excited to announce that we are teaming up! In order to build more solidarity and community with our unhoused neighbors in East Nashville, OTN and TCC are partnering together every Tuesday in conjunction with TCC's community meal. One of OTN's outreach workers will provide street outreach in the East Nashville neighborhood and be a presence during the Tuesday meal. This partnership will allow both entities to creatively network & provide resources with and for our unhoused neighbors.
Trinity Community Commons is a neighborhood nonprofit that shows radical compassion to all people, restoring connections between neighbors and a sense of belonging in the community. They foster authentic, life giving fellowship through their community events such as their free community meal every Tuesday night. If you haven't made it out to a Tuesday night dinner yet, we highly recommend it! Every Tuesday from 4:30-6:30, neighbors come together to share a meal and connect with one another. It's an event where everyone is welcome to the table - something we at OTN deeply value!
This partnership does not mark the beginning of our relationship with TCC. For the past couple of years, we have provided a free foot clinic at the Tuesday night dinner every week in the summertime, and this past January, we combined forces to open up a warming shelter for our friends in the midst of bad winter weather.
We deeply value everything TCC brings to the community, and we are so excited to partner with them and see relationships flourish.
